Melbourne Insight Meditation Winter Solstice Gathering

Get together for a special day of gratitude for life’s rich offerings coinciding with this year’s winter solstice: the day of the year that has the least daylight hours of any in the year!

This event aims to raise funds for MIM’s Retreat Scholarship Fund so that we can supported places for each retreat for those who suffer genuine financial hardship.

The afternoon will include:

• 1 hr live musical performance by Colombian musician, Pablo Naranjo, playing acoustic music from his two albums “Echos del frio” and ‘Orbeum’
• an artist talk and exhibition of Hartmut Veit’s paintings informed by his meditation practice
• a 30min meditation
• an opportunity to get to know one another
• chai provided

Invite your friends, family and kids are welcome! Kids can come for free.

Please bring a potluck plate to share (chai will be provided).
