Some people say that an hour of yoga nidra can be as restorative as four hours of regular. Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down horizontally and you will be guided by your instructor. A fantastic practice to alleviate stress, decrease anxiety or ease insomnia.
MEDITATION
Meditation is typically a seated practice, where your body is comfortable, yet upright and alert (you can also practice lying down). There are many different types of meditation, some including various forms of guided meditation to help you focus. At SAS we aim to introduce students to various types of meditation, such as using the breath or mantra. If you want to find more clarity and peace then make sure to join this class.
